Hampton by Hilton - Hotel, York

This new 120-bed hotel has been created on a challenging site in the shadow of York’s original station (West Offices) and historic City Walls, within the City’s Central Historic Core and Conservation Area.

It forms part of a wider regeneration development that includes the revitalisation of the Grade II* listed former station building, a project also carried out by the practice.

This contemporary design reconciles diverse limitations on a tightly constrained and extremely sensitive site to bring a new BREEAM excellent rated hotel to York.
