Time Office, Offices York

The Grade II listed Time Office at the former Terry's Chocolate Factory has been converted and extended to provide S.Harrison Group with a new headquarters building.

A new glazed storey at roof level has been added to increase the building's floor area, inset from the perimeter of the building to preserve the visual integrity of the existing parapets. A new 'freestanding' circulation and ancillary core has also been added to minimise the impact of the conversion on the historic building and to maximise the lettable office floorspace.

The building has been designed to achieve an 'Excellent' BREEAM rating.
